Bill I do believe it is also linked to whatever you inserted into
MSWord,Tools, User Information.

| Not sure that you can take the date out, but the only way I have figured
how
| to remove the name is to change your PowerPoint profile name to a "space"
| character. Open PowerPoint, click "Tools", "Options", click the "general"
| TAB and the name listed there is what shows up when you insert a comment.
| Unfortunately if you delete your name and try to insert a comment it asks
| for your name. If you replace the text with a space it appears as though
it
| is empty when you insert a comment. The date, however, is probably not
| possible to change since it probably uses the setting of your computer.
| There might be some sort of Registry setting you can fool with, but I
| wouldn't know what it is.
