How do you separate formatting for bullets from text above?

The following is an example of what I have:

We do not want the text above to move
when we change the bullets below.
(bullet image) text
(bullet image) text
(bullet image) text

This is what I want. I want the paragraph to be aligned
to the left and the bullets to be indented.
(bullet image) text
(bullet image) text
(bullet image) text

Please help!

Ok, that didn't work at all. In the example below, the "when we change the
bullets below" text is indented.

nrs21710,
Hm, you will need two textboxes I'm afraid.
In PowerPoint 2007 this has improved, now you can format bulleted lists like
in Microsoft Word. PowerPoint 2007 now uses paragraph formatting. And you can
pretty much do what you want with separate paragraphs.

nrs21710,
Just dawned on me, you could use two levels.
Type in the first paragraph.
Then press enter, apply bulleting, do not start to type just press the tab
key to reach the second level. Drag the bottom two indent carats in the ruler
to the right.
Type in your bulleted text.

nrs21710,
It's even better when you use the increase indent button on the formatting
toolbar. In that case no need to adjust the carats for the second level. Let
us hope I have said it all now.
