Choose File | Print so that you see the complete Print dialog before each printing operation.

The information you gave me seems to work for every thing except when you
are in Outlook, Sent Items, and you are trying to print out a letter which
has been sent. In this situation, when you select File, then Print, the
Dilogue Box only list the Default Printer adjecent to "Type:". Above where
it says "Name:" the Default Printer is shaded out and you do not have the
option to select another printer.

A letter? Do you mean a Word document? Or an email message? If the latter, in what format? Did you open the item before printing it?

I am trying to print an email, after the email was sent. which I sent in
Outlook from the "Sent Items" folder, on an alternate printer, by selecting
"File", then "Print". When you first send the email, you have the choice
of printers at that time, when you have just finished you message, but after
the email is sent, then only your "default" printer appears to be the only
option.

DId you try opening the item before printing it?

That is my problem, I did not open it before trying to print it.
But now that I opened this one email, I can print others without opening
them. I had restatrted my computer several times before trying to be able to
select a printer.
Anyway, its working fine now.
Thanks.
