How do you save multiple versions of a document with Word 2007

In Microsoft Word 2007, how do you save multiple version of a document? In
Word 2003 you used to be able to go File/Versions/Save but I haven't seen
how to do this in 2007
 
.... And even if it were still available you're far better off to save your
revisions as separate files. The Versions feature prior to 2007 was quite
potentially problematic, which may be why it wasn't kept :-)
