I have a camera video that was filmed with the camera sideways. When
importing into Powerpoint I need to be able to rotate it so you can view it
straight up. Is there anyway to rotate the video clip in Powerpoint?

So he can't just rotate the black rectangle that appears when you insert the
movie file?

Hi,

No, it doesn't work.

That option is not available in 2007 or 2003. You *can* use the 3d rotation
button in 2007 to rotate the content of the rectangle, but it then plays in
video format the way it was filmed (horizontal, if that is how it was
filmed). PowerPoint does not play it but hands it over to the operating
system.

I all else fails then try rotating the whole screen image using Cntrl-
Alt-Left arrow.
Not elegant but if needs must
cheers
