How do you reset you IP Address?

You have to run the ipconfig /release command to release
your ip address and then run the ipconfig /renew to have
the network card get a new address if you have the system
running as DHCP. Otherwise, you have to set it manually in
the network properties.

0.0.0.0 tells you your nic card is not working or configured
My friends IP reads: 0.0.0.0, how can she reset it?
