Hello.
I'm very new to Outlook. Converting from Eudora.
I have my calender set to a weekly view. Made a mock appointment, and it
show the subject in the calender. How do I see the details in the preview
pane? Instead of having to open the details.

What version of Outlook? The details show up just fine in the Reading Pane
in Outlook 2003 (the Reading Pane is the new version of the old Preview
Pane). You may also want to try the AutoPreview feature.

I am using Outlook 2002 (XP)
The only thing I can see is the task window.
After I read your reply, I did turn on the Preveiw PAne (Duh!) Any way is
there way to customize the preveiw pane, I can barely see the details, there
is all the stuff above the details, which makes the details off the screen.
My goal is to click on a calendar event, and read the detail, almost like an
email.

Have you tried dragging the top border of the preview pane upward so you can
see more of the detail?

I don't have a copy of Outlook 2002 installed here to test with, but you can
try right-clicking the header to see if you are given any options, or
double-clicking the header. (Sorry, I barely used Outlook 2002 before
installing 2003 so I don't remember how it worked.)
