You could do what you are after by adding hyperlinks to the bulleted list
items that get you to another slide. Of course that would mean your bullet
points will have the formatting of a hyperlink, underlining and change of
color. If you want you could draw a rectangle on top of every bullet point,
give it no border and no fill and link that box to the other slide. On the
other slide you can put an object that links you back to the last shown
slide. During slide show it would require some skill to activate the
hyperlinks but it can be done.
Or you could hyperlink to a custom show, containing just one slide, in that
case you could check the show and return box in the hyperlink dialog to
return to the original slide with just one click. Eliminating the need for
an extra object to return to the original slide.
