How do you purge outbox of email that appear to be stuck there?

There are a couple of emails that were attempted to be sent when the computer
was being set up. The can't be deleted or sent but always prevent outlook
from being closed down with out a question about these 2 partially sent
emails.

I tried all of the suggestions and wound up creating a new data file and
making it default. The editor could not remove the bogus email from the
Outbox. We still have all the data and it is a workable situation and fully
reversable if desired. Thank you.
