How do you open a .gwp file

A friend sent an email with a gwp file attachment and I can't open it in
publisher. Any suggestions?

Where can I get free software to open and edit a .gwp file.
 
You're in the PowerPoint group, not the Publisher group.

http://filext.com/alphalist.php?extstart=^G lists GWP as either a
Greetings Workshop file or a GoodWay Flight Planner Flight Plan. I suspect
you have the Greetings file -- you probably need it to open the file. Or
maybe ask the author to save/print it as a PDF or other compatible format.
(PDF won't be editable, of course.)
