how do you move a line with custom animation

I have a line that is at 90 degrees and I want to pivot it to an angle of 45
using custom animation. Please help!!!
 
Hi Kelly
Use emphasis > spin
Select counterclockwise and in amount > custom type 45 and ENTER

Note the the line will rotate about its centre if yo want it to rotate about
its end (like a clock hand" You will have to use a hidden pivot.

Copy and paste the line place both lines end to end and group
Now select only one half of the group (black handles) and set it to no line.
Now apply the animation
