Nope, it was PowerPoint, used it last year. Regardless, that wasn't my
question; does 07 have this capability? It seems relatively simple. It
wasn't the adding shapes that were important. It just starts you with one
box, you type what you want, then click either "yes" or "no". a corresponding
box is generated and you can do the same with that box. You could also go
back and click the previous box and a different option and it would create a
new path. Easy, or so it seems.
btw, the automated E-mail I got informing me of the response to this post
led me to a dead link. I had to navigate the entire site to find this thread
again.
What should have taken 30 seconds has now become a 2 day ordeal, since I
“upgraded†to 07... but I guess Microsoft is used to hearing that…

PPT 2003 didn't have anything like this. I mean, there are autoshapes you
can use to create a flowchart, or there's the Diagramming applet (Insert |
Diagram) with an organization chart and other diagram types (but no flow
chart), but there's nothing that will add shapes to your flowchart based on
you choosing Yes or No.
Are you sure this wasn't a third-party add-in to PowerPoint? Or perhaps you
were using Visio or something similar?

I’m trying to create a flowchart that has “yes-no†switch for each item.
So
after making each box I can right-click it, and choose “yes†or “noâ€. It
will
then automatically create a subordinate box in a different shape. I
remember
this function in 2003 but I can’t find it in this version!
