How do you keep the computer from going into "locked" mode when idle?

After my computer is idle for a few minutes, it goes into a "locked" mode
that requires me to click on my user icon to get back to the desktop. Is
there any way to prevent that from happening?

Right click the desktop, select Personalize and click Screen Saver. Uncheck
"On resume, display logon screen". That should take care of it. You can
adjust other settings such as Vista turning your screen off or going into
hibernation in the control panel under Power Options.

Perfect. Thanks.
