I'm having a problem installing Business Contact Manager from off of the Office 2003 Professional version. What is the path and procedure on the CD, that will allow me to complete this installation ?????

Where did you get your CD? There have been problems with BCM not being
available on all copies (for example, those promotional copies received at
an Office launch event). Do you have a Disk 2? If so, it should be on there.

I got one of those disks and was told that BCM would be
on there. I only have one disk. So are you saying I did
not get it? Am I now going to have to go out and buy a
full version of PRO to get it?

This is to answer the questions about BCM on CDs. I
received my Office 2003 Pro free from Microsoft at a
Launch event. We were told we would be getting the
software free if we stayed for the whole event. I did.
We were told that BCM comes with Pro or Small Business
versions of Office. and that is the only way you can get
it. Since I had XP Pro, I did not see the need to
upgrade except I did want to use BCM as I have a small
office and I am the only employee and this would be great
for my business. I am not looking a gift horse in the
mouth, but I finally heard from Microsoft and yes we did
get Office 2003 Pro for free along with One Note, which
is great. However, BCM is on a separate CD and what I
really went to the launch event for. I do not care for
One Note and mainly wanted BCM for Outlook. When I heard
from Microsoft I was told the BCM would not be apart of
the giveaway. I feel that Microsoft needs to offer BCM
for sale or make it available to us since they said we
would be getting it with the Office Pro. Now if I want
BCM, I have to go out and buy the Small Office version.
It is a shame they do not offer BCM as a stand alone or
special discout for those that want it but can not get it
without buying a whole version of Office. But those are
just my thoughts.
