how do you import a customized Style from one PP into another one? I have one PP file with a certain style that is not a standard style. It is a customized one. I want to apply this style into a new PP. I am using Office XP

Thank you

Monica

This is how I would do it:

1. Open the presentation in Normal view
2. Delete all of the slides
3. Go to View > Master > Slide Master
4. Go to File > Save as and give it a new name. From the drop down "Save
as file type" menu select Design Template(*.POT) and click OK.

To determine where to save your new template, see the tutorial at
http://www.soniacoleman.com/Tutorials/PowerPoint/powerpoint_templates.htm.
Do that in advance of doing the save as above.

But that is if you want to save it. Re-reading your note I see that you
just want to apply it.

With your presentation open, go to Format > Slide Design. On the Task Pane
find the "Browse" link at the bottom and click on it. Locate the
presentation whose design you want to use and select it. The template used
in that presentation should now be applied to your current presentation.
