Mike

just got back from PC World with some high capacity CD-R90 90min discs.
main reason being so i can fit two albums onto one CD as the length of two
is usually between 80 and 90 mins.

but when i put it in my Windows Media Player it still said it was just 80
mins! rebooted and tried again and got the same result. checked on the help
menu and it only went up to 700MB for discs it supported? I am running
Windows XP Home Edition.

so is it the case that 800MB discs don't run on even the most up to date
version of media player? seems bit crazy to me!

grateful for any advice before i take them back to PC World and see what
they have to say!

thanks
Mike

Why are you so surprised that there's some artificial limitation imposed
within a Microsoft product?
