How do you get the meetings to not show on your calendar if you are not attending the meeting but want to track the meeting?

I don't think I was very clear on my question. Let me try again.

My boss wants me to set up a meeting inviting several people. I am the organizer. I make appointments for several bosses. These various meetings show up on my calendar even when I have marked my name with an X to not show on my calendar.

Can this be fixed?
