How do you get the email acct set up?

I am having trouble setting up my new email account. When I try to set up
the acct., it asks for the incoming and outgoing server. Who are they? I put
in charter.net which is who my email is through but it gives me an error
message saying that it cannot complete that task. Any help would be
appreciated. Thanks.
 
Go to the Website of your mail provider, commonly who you pay for Internet
access, and follow the instructions for setting up Outlook Express.

Your incoming server is pop.charter.net
Your outgoing server is smtp.charter.net

The first place to look for this kind of info is the support
pages of your ISP.

This article is for Outlook Express. Windows Mail shouldn't be
that different.
