N Niek Otten May 21, 2010 #2 <NOT SURE WHAT I'M DOING WRONG> How could we be, if we don't even know what you're doing? What *exactly* do you type and what appears in the cell? Did you format the cells and if so, how? Please don't type in all capitals. It is considered shouting.

J jayray May 21, 2010 #3 I'M DOING A SPREADSHEET AND WHEN I PUT DATES IN THE COLUMN IT AUTOMATICALLY CHANGES TO A FUTURE DATE. NOT SURE WHAT I'M DOING WRONG Click to expand... You may be entering mm/dd/yyyy when your Excel is formatted for dd/mm/ yyyy (or vice versa). Thus when you enter 5/11/2010 thinking that is is May 11 2010, the date as formatted shows up as Nov 5 2010.
