How do you erase the entire tracks on the CD-R

I understand that once you have burned a CD you can not
delete a track or record over until the memorex CD-R is
erased enirely, Dos ayone know how to do that on Windows
XP home edition
 
CD-R's are write once media. You can not delete information on them.
CD-RW's will allow you to erase.
 
if you do not want anyone to listen to the cd take a
large nail and ripe some groves in it. or cut it into
little pieces. or read the next answer.
