Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum, I just came accross it today and
I signed up to ask what I hope is a simple question.

I would like to be able to enter a client's financial information
during a presentation and I can't figure out how to format a text box
so that it becomes editable during a slideshow. I know this is
possible because I saw it work in a jeopardy gameshow presentation.
Does anyone know what to do?

When I saw this feature it got me thinking about what else I could make
editable during a presentation. Can you make linked excel worksheets
editable? What about source data for charts and graphs (from within
powerpoint or excel)?

If anyone has an answer to these questions it would be wonderfully
helpful. thanks.

Most likely the presentation was run from a computer supporting multiple
monitor output. It was set to "extended desktop" which allows different
content on each monitor. PPT supports this mode by allowing the presentation
to be viewed on one monitor and edit mode on the other. The live text
editing is accomplished by the person at the computer, in the PPT edit
screen they typed in the new text, which appears automatically on the show
screen.
