P psnc Jul 17, 2003 #2 I don't think there really is a need to disable Safe Mode, because unlike the Safe Modes in Windows 9x, the 2000/XP versions are totally safe, requiring you to enter your Administrator username and password before you can do anything.

K Kim Jul 18, 2003 #3 My son found a way to turn the computer on in safe mode and he is not prompted for an administator name or password! Very unsecure and unsafe!!!
