I set up my home network on my home lan, but I decided
that I want to disable it. I can find nothing on this
subject. It seems Microsoft doesn't want you to disable
it. Anybody know?

Depending on what exactly you mean by "disable it", there are several things
you can do. You can:

Right click on each network connection in the "Network Connections" control
panel and select disable
Unplug the networking cables if it is a wired network
Physically remove the network adapter (wireless or wired)
Disable built-in network adapters in the computer's bios

All of the above will have the effect of making that computer not be
networked anymore. Is that what you are after? If not, can you post some
more details about exactly what you're trying to accomplish?
