I do not want to just turn off the autocomplete..but rather delete them
entirely.

Thank ou.

Look on the left side of the Google tool bar, and you will see the colorful
Google logo, click on that, and then click the 'clear search history'
option.

HT,

To modify your settings for the AutoComplete feature or clear all items from the list of form or password suggestions, follow these steps in Internet Explorer:

1.On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
2.Click the Content tab.
3.Click AutoComplete.
4.Click the appropriate AutoComplete check boxes, or click Clear Forms or Clear Passwords to clear all saved items from the appropriate AutoComplete history.
5.Click OK, and then click OK.

To clear individual items from the list of form or password suggestions, click the item in the list of suggestions for that field and then press DELETE. The AutoComplete list automatically appears when you perform any of the following actions on a previously populated form:

* Type the first character in the field
* Press the UP or DOWN keys in the field
* Double-click a blank area in the field

I'm sorry but I did not see the clear history option on the Google home
page.

If I turn off auto-complete ..they do not delete. Someone can turn it on and
they reappear.

Thank you everyone for you help. :)

Sorry, I wasn't very clear, I didn't mean to directing you to the Google
Home page. Do you have the Google toolbar? That's what I was referring to.
If you have the Google Tool bar, follow my instructions..look on the left
side of the toolbar for the word GOOGLE in colorful letters. Right after the
last letter in Google (e) there is a very small black arrow, click on the
word Google and from there you can clear search history.
