I guess I am looking for a little help here, from anyone
asap. The Operating system is Windows XP. I have been
trying to connect a wireless network to this computer. My
problem is everytime I delete the Network connection and
reboot, the system keeps naming the connections like
Network connection #2, then #3 and so on. But it will not
let me delete the entries.

My question is how can I delete the entries so it will
stop adding numbers at the end. Will I need to edit the
registry to delete these old entries?

Thanks,
JayMoney

The only time that happened to me is when I was using the network wizard and
it kept making a bridge. Try to network without the wizard. Do it manually.
You don't need it to connect to a router or AP.

I understand what your saying but the wizard comes up
everytime, and now when I try the network numbers get
higher, and higher, I'm up to Network connection #7.

Is there away to delete the rest of the previous entries,
do I need to go into the registry? If so, where in the
registry is the info located.

Thanks,
JayMoney
