how do you delete a powerpoint presentation that you finished

Delete it as you would any other file. Find it, right click on it and select

Seems a shame when you just made it.

I would strongly suggest making at least one copy before deleting it.
(Sounds like the government, I know)

It is amazing how often recycling slides is useful.
