How do you define a page size in
xp so that when you go to print and click on advanced, the new page is there
as a selection you can pick?

I did this once years ago, and
can't figure out how to do it again!

TIA

Mike

What do you mean "in xp" for printing?

Do you mean in Word or Excel or ???

Have you looked in the properties of the printer?

sorry i wasn't clear about this.
Specifically from the print drop down menu in Excel for this application,
however, when created, the option to choose it appears in all of the
print drop down menus.
from within excel: File - page setup - paper size -and the list appears
there.
I remember making the page somewhere in windows,
not in an application. After created, you name it, and then that name
appears in the drop down menu as a selection.

here's another way to look at what I'm trying to do:
after following Start > Control Panel > Printers and Faxes > Right click
your printer >
Printing Preferences
and then going to >device Settings
there are two drop downs for my HPH4 laser, one for cassette feed and one
for
manual paper feed. I want to add a new one to the list.
I am trying to make a manual feed size options that is the
size of the oddball tractor feed paper. This is on an
okadata pin machine, not the laser.
