How do you create a new page

I have just upgraded to FP 2003 from FP 2000. I am working on a new website,
have created a folder for it as I'm not yet ready to publish. All the pages
have the same content! Everytime I edit a page and put new content, it goes
on all the pages! Very frustrating. How do I keep this from happening?
Each page should have it's own content, but I do have shared borders. Any
advice will be appreciated

What you put in a shared border will appear on all pages that have a shared
border...so put onlly what you want shared in a shared border.

I expect the borders to be in all pages, what I mean is that all the page
content is the same on every page. If I edit the page content, it changes on
every page.

So, like did you put your content in a shared border? Sounds like it.

Post the URL.

Wow, I never thought of that, but yes, apparently that is what I did. Can't
post the URL as it's only in a file on my hard drive right now. Couldn't
figure out how to get rid of the shared borders, so just recreated the pages.
Hadn't gotten too much on them yet, so it wasn't too much trouble. FP 2003
is very different than 2000. This is a project for my church, so at least
they're not in any hurry; of course, this is not a paying job either :-).
Thanks for the help. I'll be back to this group if I need more.

Yer welcome. I know about working for free too...starts out simple then
becomes all consuming. At least my guys don't pressure me with deadlines.

You may want to play around with Includes (Insert | Web Component | Included
Content (i think)...or read Help on them) they can do the same kinda thing
but gives you more control down the road.
