Always get "old pages" of web sites that have updated
themselves since I last logged but can't see the info
since my cache stores old version--- can someone take me
thru steps to clear cache? thanks

To see the newest version of a page, reload it. To clear the cache, open
Internet Explorer and go to Tools > Internet Options > General tab > Delete
files > Delete all offline content. You will also see the options for how
long to keep information in the cache.

Howdy,

Deleting temporary internet files and history will be
clearup the history of the websites that you had visited:

1. Long on as Administrator.

2. For each username locate the folder you wish to delete.
They should be located somewhere like:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\HISTORY
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local
Settings\Temporary Internet Files

3. Simply highlight the folder and press Delete.

You may also try these steps:

1. Open Internet Explorer, click Tools and choose Internet
Options.
2. In Internet Options Window, under General tab.
3. Click delete files, delete cookies and clear history
buttons one after the other to clear unwanted junk, which
automatically gets downloaded from internet.
4. Click ok to exit out of Internet Options.

Turn Off AutoComplete:

IE/Tools/Internet Options/Content/AutoComplete

MJ;
The problem is not with your cache, but how IE uses
it. In Internet Explorer, go to tools, internet options,
it should automaticly open to the General tab, under the
heading Temporary Internet Files, click the button for
Settings, there you will see "Check for Newer Versions of
Stored Pages", select the appropriate setting for your
surfing needs, probably "Always".
Hope this helps, Ron Borders.
