How do you clear a datagrid?

I have a datagrid that displays child records. I need to clear the grid on
occasion, is there a command that will do this?

I looked through the docs and the property sheet but didn't see anything
that looked like it would do the trick unless I missed it.

gridInventoryDetail.clear = true or something like this?
