How do you change the x - axis on a scatter chart?

When I create an xy scatter chart in Powerpoint, the x axis is on the first
row of the data sheet. How do I change it so that the x axis is in the first
column instead?

Double-click to activate the chart. Check the Data menu. Do any of the
options there -- series on rows/columns or even plot on X axis -- do what
you want?

If not, you may need to re-input your data on the datasheet.
