Try the FAQ: http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/CreateFraction.htm Alternatively, if you mean Subscript, then Ctrl++ formats Superscript and Ctrl+- formats Subscripts. These are both 'toggles, so after entering Ctrl+- to start subscript, Ctrl+- will turn it off again.
