how do you capture screen

Dear friends,

When I surf the internet and come across a good web page
I want to copy (take a snapshot) the screen and put it in
powerpoint slide - to show my students about the website

How do I do it

Please help.

The FN and FN11 did not work for me. I use Ctrl
PrtSC..and then go to Word and use Ctrl V

Following is extract from Windows 98 HELP:

"To copy the window or screen contents

To copy an image of the window that is currently active, press ALT+PRINT
SCREEN.
To copy an image of the entire screen, press PRINT SCREEN.
To paste the image into a document, on the Edit menu in the document window,
click Paste.

How do I do it

You can also try pressing the PrtScn(Print Screen) button along the top of
your keyboard on the right hand side, then open your word processor or a
graphics program and do a paste. This will give you a copy of the screen at
that site. You can crop the farmes or whatever part of it you want/need
before adding to your PowerPoint slide.

You don't mention what version of Windows you have, but, you might also
talke a look at this program. It is freeware:

If these steps do not resolve your problem, please post back to this thread
with the details and any error messages.
