The church that I am at has a computer with win 2000
on it and the person that has the password is no longer
working there. He has failed to setup the office network
for over 6 months with this computer being the server. We
are trying to get this setup but the computer is password
locked and he will not give us the password. Is there a
work around for this? How do you restart the computer
since the ctrl+alt+del does not work at this point? We
are trying to keep this out of the court system. thank
you

Are you setup with administrator privilages on your own login??
Just turn the power off to the machine and re-boot it & logon to the
administrator account & remove that persons name in the users list.
Or, was it all "adminstrator" run??
