Has anybody built the OpenNETCF Smart Device Framework into their platform?
I'm not sure how this should be done. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

You mean so it is in your DLL? Simply pull the source files into your own
project and reference them there.

Actually I am trying to build the SDF into our custom platform with Platform
Builder. We would like to have the SDF as part of the OS image so that any
applications we develop can use the SDF without having to install it. Does
that clear up any ambiguity?

See how it goes, Frank?! I send you here, then Alex sends you back. By the
time you reach a moderate level of frustration, we've got it figured out and
on the Web site! I'm working on a CEC file now. The difficulty is getting
the ROM modules into the GAC and I think I understand how that is being done
when the .NET CF itself is in ROM. Might have something at least moderately
workable by tomorrow sometime...

Paul,

I have something that seems to be working. I came up with a BIB file and a
REG file to do it. I will send you a copy of the files.

Thanks for the quick response,

I've built a corresponding CEC file for that. We'll figure out how to
distribute them...
