How do we structure a [email protected] address for the web?

We want to put an email address on our web site to be used for prospective
sales contacts. How do we set up outlook so that the message goes to the
designated person on our team, with the ability for that person to see it
specifically as a message sent to the Sales address?
 
Set up the (e-mail address removed) account in that persons Outlook.

Assuming your company is using a SMTP/POP based email service. The way
I would go about this:

1. Create a POP mailbox called "sales" on the email server.

2. On the designated sales person's Outlook, add a new POP email
account and have it log onto the "sales" mailbox. Make sure the reply
to address is filled in as (e-mail address removed)

3. When the sales person's Outlook checks for mail, it will check both
his personal and sales mailboxes.

4. The sales person will see the mail as a message sent to the sales@
address.

5. When he replies to the email, the default "from" address will be
the sales@ address. He as the option of changing the address while
creating the mail.
 
One more bit of useful data: for the user to see that the email was sent to
that address, show the To... field in their Inbox.
