Our dept has a boardroom that only we want to be able to book essentially
restricting the others in our company from booking it. Is this possible

How is the resource set up, is it as a mailbox, public folder or other!

Hhmm, I'm not sure. I know it's in the company address book but I guess our little dept wants to know what do we have to do so that we can book it through Outlook and the rest of the company doesn't see that we're doing that. I can bring suggestions forward to our IT dept or ask whatever necessary questions to get this done.

Sounds like it has been set up as a mailbox, there is a utility here that
may help http://autoaccept-sink.sourceforge.net/, another way that I haven't
tested is by going into the Properties of the mailbox and restricting access
to required groups/users (this is done in Active Directory Users and
Computers), also check out this URL on resource booking
http://www.slipstick.com/calendar/skedresource.htm. If you want it
completely hidden then the only way I know off is by having the resource as
a Public Folder (more on this in the last URL).
