How do unlock my documents?

i'm trying to use word...but somehow it's locked and i already tried
following all the instructions....
 
This is a Microsoft ACCESS newsgroup, not a Microsoft WORD newsgroup.

You might report in the correct newsgroup and explain what you mean by
"locked". Do you get an error message? Which instructions did you follow?
