Peter

We have purchased the PID from our distributor, applied
it to the (retail)TD, the post-FBA image doesn't have any
text at the lower right corner of the desktop. According
to all the people on this board, that's all I need to do,
but my c:\windows\system32\eula.txt still says: "This is
a time-sensitive Windows XP Embedded Runtime". Does that
mean after few month, our customer will get a license
expired message? Please advise ...

Thanks,
Peter

That text file's presence is a bug, it should not be there. It will be fixed
in the next product release, in the meantime you can safely delete that
file. It has no adverse affect on the OS if it is in the image, it is
harmless; your runtime's activation is not affected.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

That's all I need to know.

Thank you, Andy.
