Right click on the form field, then select Form Field Validation.

I've done that and it still allows the form to be sent rhrough. I have
clients who are sending me updates without putting their name or comapny so I
don't know which client to apply the cahnges to. I'm obviously doing
something wrong.

Outline the procedure you did do...it'll be easier to t-shoot. Or better yet, post the URL to the form.
