HOW DO MAKE A FILE A READ ONLY FILE?

I am making a P.P. presentation and want to save as a Read Only file. How do
I accomplish this?
 
In Powerpoint 2003 go to Tools | Options | Security -- you can enter file
sharing settings that require a password to modify the document. If another
user does not know the password when they go to open it, then they can open
it as read-only.
