how do insert a Word file into a powerpoint slide presentation

I need to have several word text files in among numerous Photoshop slides for
my presentation. I have the photo slides OK. How do I insert the text slides?

Hi Lawrence,
if you can not easily/ clearly represent the word information by copying and
pasting the text to a powerpoint slide i would suggest adding a hyperlink to
the external word doc. make sure you collate the word documents and
powerpoint file in a folder prior to setting the hyperlinks. Insert/
Hyperlink/ Existing File.
