I have 2 drives, and I want to keep D: drive as private/password protected,
can this be done

You can't password-protect an entire drive. You can either create user
accounts with passwords and only give certain users access to folders on
your D: drive OR you will need a third-party application that does
encryption. Why not just create the users instead?
