How do I verify my email address for windows instant messaging?

I signed up for windows instant messaging but it keeps asking me to go to my
email inbox and verify my email address on the message I received. When I
look in the email inbox, there's never any received message to that affect.
What should I do? I have already had to resign-up for the service (a hassle)
and it is still happening.

I would suggest that you ask this question in a Windows newsgroup, one
for your version of Windows. This newsgroup is for the database
program Microsoft Access, not for general computer questions. Good
