I tend to doubt it would work as Lotus.

After furious head scratching, Julie Foster asked:
| Well perhaps the same formula in Excel would work here? I don't have
| Excel on this computer so I can't look it up. Perhaps someone could
| let me try their code from Excel. I would think you could hand code
| it if there were no function for it but I don't know where to look
| for documentation for formulas and functions in Outlook. Would it
| work the same as a Lotus 1-2-3 formula? They document their formulas
| really well in their help.

||
||| From the Advanced Toolbar (View/Toolbar/Advanced while viewing my
||| Calendar) I clicked the down arrow which changes views and chose
||| "Define Views". I then clicked Modify (the "by category" view).
||| Under "Fields" I clicked "New Field". I named the field DayofWeek,
||| chose "formula" for Type and then clicked "Edit". A "Formula Field"
||| pops up where I can click Field or Function button. Does this help?
