I have downloaded vista beta 2 preview to my vaio laptop and am using aero
glass, how do I use the flip 3d feature?

Winkey+Tab. If you have a scroll wheel you can use it to flip/scroll
through the progs.

I rather doubt you can. Aero Glass and the 3d flip feature require a WDDM
video card with at least 256MB of RAM.

Your Sony does not qualify.

He said in the OP that he has glass enabled

Me too.
You only need 128 ram although more is always better, but not necessary in
this case.

Not true. 256 is not required. 3D rendering and DirectX 9 are more
important that any memory requirement anyway. Everyone seems to think that
enough video memory is sufficient to run Glass, but it is the WDDM
compliance that you refer to that is critical.

Hadn't thought of that. Looks cool, but just using the normal Alt-TAB is
plenty good enough for me.

thx guys,
I for one am loving vista, it is intuative, great looking and judging by
whats to come it will revolutionise the way we share information and create
ideas. Once most of the major bugs are sorted out I will be subscribing.

Yay. A windows update came out today and all of a sudden, Flip 3D works. Whether or not the two are related...I'll have to figure that out.

Thanks for all the responses.

I have tried every combination and cannot get Flip 3d to work. Any ideas?

Do you have Aero Glass?

I noticed the change in behavior today also.
