How do I use Powerpoint to upload pictures from my computer etc?

He probably layed out a slide with all of the pics and then saved the slide to a
JPG. He might have inserted all the photos and resized them to make the tiled
layout. Since it's a JPG, it's not possible to tell specifically what method he
used, but it's not a big deal in PowerPoint. You can also use a large number of
other applications to do the same.
