Hi,
My computer has 2 hard discs. Disc C and Disc D.

My Disc C is completely full, while Disc D is completely empty. I thought
that when C was full the computer would automatically start to use D, but
this doesn't appear to be the case. I keep getting a low disk space message.

I am hoping that someone could explain how I can use my disc D. I have a
very big itunes folder, and if I could move that over to disc D that would
be a big help.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

You have to 'Custom Install' applications then select the other drive -
ensure the new path is as you want -
By default apps are installed to C
You can move the My Documents folder to D - right click on the Icon /
properties
Clean out your temp internet files - internet options
Run Disk clean up.
As it is you would have to uninstall apps, then reinstall to D
I dont know if you can move your Itunes data folder
It is possible with some apps to configure their data files to a different
location.

There are some utilities available that will move your applications to
another drive such as 'D'. I have never tried any but maybe someone else can
elaborate.

That true, it not a simple file copy type of thing. If you use these tools
always make a backup of your C drive using a professional backup tool like
Ghost before you start.
