how do i unlink outlook from my regular e mail acct ?

By mistake i linked my email account with outlook. How do i unlink it so i
can again receive emails in my old comcast account?

If by mistake you mean that Outlook pulled in all your old e-mail and
it's now no longer accessible from webmail, you need to enable the
"leave a copy of messages on server" option in Outlook.
