My IE is infected and I want to remove and reinstall, but
I don't see it when I look at Add/Remove Programs. Where
else can I look to remove it?

Thanks

If IE is "infected" then your entire machine is...
Has your anti-virus scanner detected anything? Where did you get confirmation of this.

Internet Explorer and Internet Tools *is* listed in Add/Remove Programs.
Run your pre-installed A-V scanner and post back.

if the OP is using XP then he CAN'T uninstall IE. he can only remoce access
to it.

Fairly obvious what I meant....shall I spell it out? (Possibly replace the
"c" in "remoce" with a "v").......

No - If you choose a combative attitude I care not to partake in any discussion with you.

Who's being combative? My post was perfectly legitimate and reasonable.
